Gary represented Australia in the sport of Sailing and is the only Australian to have won 5 World Titles in Hobie 16 & 18 categories. Gary along with his brother Chris represented Australia in the Olympic Class TORNADO.

Gary and Chris Metcalfe both former world yachting champions started in the building industry on the Gold Coast since 1979, and since have been involved with contract housing and commercial projects. Reefsea Homes is a company that takes pride in house design, quality workmanship and superior customer service.
With every aspect from the initial client brief to the handover of the house (and beyond for any maintenance work, which is part of the Reefsea Service), it is always Gary and Chris that you are dealing with. This personal touch that the brothers bring to every building experience is what makes Reefsea clients come back time and time again.
Although Reefsea Homes boast an impressive range of standard designs, we specialize in tailoring our designs to suit each client’s individual needs and the different requirements of their block. We are also more than happy to build on sloping sites or ‘odd-shaped’ blocks. All our designs and drawings are done in-house by Gary himself.
Both Gary and Chris have been active committee members of the Queensland Master Builders Association (QMBA) and have been the proud recipients of many housing awards.
